The Geological Institute participates in the YES 2021 challenge with the project #GreenInsteadOfBrown

YES 2021 project #GreenInsteadOfBrown

In the YES 2021 challenge, high school students work on scientific topics of social, political, ecological and economic relevance. In their projects, they are supported by scientists from various institutions in Germany.

The #GreenInsteadOfBrown project aims to investigate the hurdles to the acceptance of the use of geothermal energy in the population and to develop possible solutions. Dr Tabea Schröder and Dr Marius Waldvogel are acting as scientific contact persons.

In 2021, the YES challenge will take place internationally. In the course of this, the project #GreenInsteadOfBrown will be worked on by the US-American South Forsyth High School.
